Chief Inspector, Windsor Jet
Anthony originally hails from Eastern Long Island, NY. Having grown near the Grumman plant where his father worked on the Lunar Excursion Module for NASA and where the F-14 Tomcats and A6 Intruders were built and flown, his curiosity in aviation was natural. Anthony attended Spartan School of Aeronautics in 1979 through 1981 and graduated as a licensed A&P mechanic. He worked as a mechanic for NY Air, a charter airline operating scheduled flights from LaGuardia Marine Air Terminal in NY to Martha’s Vineyard, Hyannis, Nantucket, and Providence, RI. He then worked for CAMP in Ronkonkoma as a maintenance analyst, while maintaining his mechanical acumen by working at night on several operator’s aircraft on the “field” and in Teterboro, as well as occasionally supporting on-call maintenance for Continental Airlines AOGs.
In the late 90’s, he joined New World Jet/Jet Aviation, as a Maintenance Technical Assistant, where he assisted the director of maintenance and conducted safety audits of the Jet Aviation managed fleet, as well as undertaking many regulatory special projects for the company. In 2001, Jet Aviation had a downsizing and Anthony then gained employment with Garrett Aviation as a Hawker Customer Service Rep, who liaised with the customer and crew chiefs.
More recently, he left that part of the country to continue work in the warmer climes of Florida. Anthony worked as a chief inspector for now defunct Nashair, then with Reliable Jet Maintenance and finally as Chief Inspector for Windsor Jet Management. His many years in many various aspects of business aviation have allowed him to gradually garner a reputation as a well-respected and knowledgeable expert in his own right.
